OUR POLICY DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR RIGHTS UNDER THE CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT 2015
OUR CLIENTS
1. Choosing your service
Please let me know which service you would like when making your booking. If you are unsure, I’m happy to advise you on the most suitable treatment.
2. Allergies & sensitivities
Please let me know before your appointment if you have any known allergies, sensitivities or reactions to nail products, cosmetics or other substances.
3. During your appointment
Your comfort is important to me. Please feel free to share any preferences, concerns or feedback during your treatment so I can make adjustments where reasonably possible.
4. Children & guests
As I operate from a private home studio, please let me know in advance if you would like to bring a child or additional guest.
Children should remain supervised by their accompanying adult at all times.
5. Personal belongings
Please take care of your personal belongings during your appointment. Nails by Tina cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings that are lost or damaged.
6. Complimentary beverages
Enjoy a complimentary beverage during your appointment, because a little extra comfort makes all the difference.
APPOINTMENTS
Appointments are by booking only.
A. Please arrive on time so you can enjoy your full treatment.
B. Running late?
Please message me as soon as possible. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled, depending on the service booked.
C. Cancellations & rescheduling
If you need to cancel or change your appointment, I’d really appreciate 24–48 hours’ notice whenever possible.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a deposit being required for a future booking.
NAIL CARE & GUARANTEE
To help maintain your nails and achieve the best results, please follow the aftercare advice provided following your treatment.
1. Traditional polish
Traditional polish services are not covered by our nail guarantee.
2. Gel polish & nail enhancements
Gel polish and nail enhancement services are covered for 72 hours following your appointment for service-related issues such as lifting, chips or loss of an enhancement.
If you experience an issue within this period, please contact me as soon as possible, ideally with a photo, so I can assess the issue and arrange a repair where appropriate.
Damage caused by picking, biting, misuse, accidental damage or not following the recommended aftercare may not be covered.
CONCERNS & REPAIRS
If you have any concerns about your nails, please contact me as soon as possible. I’m always happy to discuss the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a repair or correction.
1. For concerns relating to the original service, please contact me within 72 hours where possible.
2. Repairs relating to accidental breakage, tears, corner breaks or damage occurring after the guarantee period may be chargeable.
3. Any unusual irritation, allergic reaction or suspected infection should be reported as soon as possible. Please seek appropriate medical advice if required.
4. Where a repair is appropriate, an appointment will be arranged at a suitable time.
REFUNDS & SERVICE
Your satisfaction is important to me.
1. If you are unhappy with your nails at the end of your appointment, please let me know before leaving where possible. I will always try to understand your concern and make reasonable adjustments where appropriate.
2. A change of mind after a service has been completed does not automatically mean that a refund is due.
3. If you contact me after your appointment with a genuine concern about the service, I will discuss the issue with you and, where appropriate, offer a repair or correction.
4. Any refund will be considered in accordance with your statutory rights and the circumstances of the service. Where a refund is agreed, it will normally be returned using the original payment method or another agreed method.
